A couple of notes:

Somewhere in the middle of the film, Lowell Thomas says how he hopes we're as excited as he is about the new advervisements. Funny, he's using the same fairly boring tone of voice that he has used throughout the film.

Anyone know who the folksinger is in the first ad?

The big question is: If the the TV advertisements were in color (a big deal in 1965) and they were trying to sell color cameras, why didn't the promotional film show the ads IN COLOR?!?

I agree that's awfully curious, especially when you're trumpeting color cameras and how wonderful color cameras are, that they couldn't slap down some more cash for some color in the film.

No idea who the Folksinger is.. Probably some for-hire studio singer. But, this could be fun, who does it SOUND like? My guess is Joan Baez.

Yeah, this bothered me. It's as if Dorothy went from Kansas to Oz, but then the Emerald City was grey.

When the dealer was showing off the accessories in the case, it reminded me of the gun buying scene in Taxi Driver. I thought the dealer was going to ask if Lowell Thomas wanted bennies, how about some uppers, downders?

The VO sounded just like Orson on Mork and Mindy!
